Jackson’s Honest to mark four-year anniversary in hometown of Crested Butte

Four-Year Anniversary

You can accomplish a lot in four years. A college education. A presidential term. However, we never thought that in that time span, Jackson’s Honest would grow in presence and popularity to its current heights.

Since debuting its bags of coconut oil potato chips July 23, 2012, at the local natural grocer downtown in its home base of Crested Butte, Colo., Jackson’s Honest has landed in 3,000-plus stores from coast to coast in the United States, including household names such as Whole Foods, Wegmans, King Soopers, Natural Grocers and Publix.

On Saturday, July 23, Jackson’s Honest gratefully returns to Mountain Earth Whole Foods in Crested Butte to commemorate the fourth anniversary – on Fourth Street, no less – from 10 a.m. to noon.

“We’ll be giving away chips to celebrate and mark our four-year anniversary,” said Jackson’s Honest co-founder/CEO Megan Reamer, who together with her husband in their Crested Butte kitchen started frying potato chips in coconut oil as a way to introduce ancestral fats into healthy snacks for their four children. “We’ll be handing out swag, too. Nothing fancy. Just a thank you.”

Hope to see you there for a taste of The Original Coconut Oil Chip® on the last day of the renowned Crested Butte Wildflower Festival. Mountain Earth Whole Foods is located at 405 4th St.
